Remich on the Luxembourg/German border. Germany is on the far side of the river.
We then crossed the French Border and visited the walled village of Rodemack. Here is the Gateway, which was rebuilt after being demolished to allow Patens tanks through.

Chapelle Notre Dame de Rodemack. Built in 1658 to celebrate the end of the Black Plague, seats about 50 people.
